Carrie Kostiner Wellness, LLC · Helping Women 35–70+
Carrie takes a personalized, whole-person approach to wellness. Using a thorough health and lifestyle history - and functional lab testing when appropriate - she helps identify and address the stressors that may be contributing to symptoms. Each plan is tailored to the individual and may include nutrition, sleep and recovery, exercise and movement, nervous system regulation, supplements, and herbal remedies.
Carrie works with women who have PCOS as part of a broader hormonal picture - she is not a PCOS-only specialist.
Carrie begins with a discovery call to confirm fit. From there, clients complete a detailed intake form covering symptoms, lifestyle, and health history before the first session. Carrie reviews everything in advance so the initial appointment goes deep immediately. Functional testing is layered in based on complexity. Ongoing support is available at the client's request and can include breathwork sessions, workout planning, yoga, meditation, and regular check-ins. This is a committed, comprehensive process - not a quick-fix model.
Carrie's path into holistic health began in 1999 as a personal trainer and yoga teacher. Her work became deeply personal when she developed a large breast mass that doctors described as idiopathic and autoimmune. Rather than pursue the steroid and chemotherapy treatments she was offered, she worked with integrative practitioners. Through functional testing, they identified root causes: mold, heavy metals, and hidden dental infections. Through nutrition, fasting, herbs, and natural medicine, she regained her health and experienced firsthand what the body is capable of when given the right conditions.
When perimenopause brought disrupted sleep, night sweats, mood changes, and hormonal shifts, she again turned to herbs, nutrition, movement, and lifestyle practices - and again found her way through. That experience deepened her commitment to supporting other women navigating peri- and menopause.
Carrie also recognized that nutrition, supplements, and exercise can only take someone so far when the nervous system remains overwhelmed. Building on her background in yoga and pranayama, she became a Certified Somatic Breathwork Practitioner to help clients regulate stress, release tension, and create the internal conditions needed for healing.
